Synthetic Organic Technician / Research associate in Chemistry (M/F) – Germany

Job description

Under the responsibility of a chemical NovAliX Project Manager, you will join a pharmaceutical company in which you will contribute by molecule syntheses to move forward the research programs. Your mission will consist in: 

• Carrying out and monitoring multi-step organic syntheses (mg to g scale) 
• The purification of the molecules obtained 
• The characterization of the products synthesized by classical analytical techniques (LC-MS, NMR) 
• The writing up of experimental procedures 

Profile

The successful candidate will have completed an apprenticeship, a B.Sc. or a M.Sc. in organic chemistry with at least 2 years’ previous industry experience in R&D. Only candidates showing significant experience in organic chemistry will be considered. 

Mastery of common techniques in synthesis, purification (chromatography…), and analysis is essential. 

We are seeking a rigorous and organized individual, with good adaptation skills and learning abilities. 

Good knowledge of English both spoken and written. Speaking French is an asset.
