The position is based in Strasbourg.

Job description :

You will be working within the DEL chemistry team, dedicated to the implementation of new chemical transformations for DNA encoded libraires, under the supervision of the head of the team. Your work will consist in :

• Implementing new chemical transformations compatible with DNA.
• Tracking of experimental records, handling of large data sets and generation of procedures.
• Following up the recent literature on the field.
• Participating in the optimization of current processes and implementing new ones. 
• Reporting your work regularly to your manager and during team meetings.  

Profile :

You should have a PhD in organic chemistry, with a post-doctoral experience or at least one year of industrial R&D experience , during which you have deepened and widened your practical and theoretical knowledge in the field of organic chemistry. A previous experience in DEL is desirable but not mandatory.

We are seeking a person who speaks fluently English, who is passionate about organic chemistry and who has a keen sense of responsibility as well as being a committed team player. The candidate should have a rigorous and organized attitude to work with excellent reporting skills.

The position is to be filled on an 18-months fixed-term contract.
