The Novalix Best Lecture Award was granted to Logan Salamone at MOCS 2024 (Merck Organic Chemistry Symposium). Organized by Prof. Stéphane Vincent from the University of Namur, this 26th edition was held in Blankenberge (Belgium) last December 5 to 6, 2024.
The MOCS event brings together Belgian organic chemists from both academic institutions and industry. The scientific program includes five invited lectures, two poster sessions and a series of oral communications presented by PhD students or postdoctoral fellows.
Prof. Stéphane Vincent from the University of Namur awarded the Novalix Best Lecture prize, in presence of Philipp Stockmann, PhD, and Akin Aydogan, PhD, from Novalix, to Logan Salamone, PhD for his lecture entitled “Nickel-Catalyzed Stereospecific Alkylation of Vinylsiloxanes using Pyridinium Salts”.
Congratulations to the winner for his great lecture, and to all speakers for their very good oral presentations during MOCS 2024!
