Research assistant Compounds Management DEL (M/F)

You will be mainly working with the DEL chemistry team, dedicated to the synthesis of DNA encoded libraires and involved in Drug Discovery projects. Your work will consist in:

• Managing and preparing plates of compounds used in the libraries according to priorities and thanks to an automated platform.
• Preparing the corresponding files and integrating the information linked to the compounds in databases.
• Optimizing current processes and implementing new ones by interacting with different scientists.  
• Generating procedures.
• Managing and supervising a laboratory assistant.
• Supporting the DEL chemistry team in case of need.
• Reporting your work on a regular basis to your management.

Profile

You should have a Master’s degree and a background in organic chemistry, with at least one year of industrial R&D experience. You are interested in automation and the development of new processes. You master Excel and ideally you are familiar with softwares like DataWarrior and KNIME.   We are seeking a person who speaks fluently English, who is passionate about chemistry, industrial machine automation, robotics, database management and who has a keen sense of responsibility as well as being a committed team player. The candidate should have a rigorous and organized attitude to work with excellent reporting skills.
