Meet Novalix at the Festival of Biologics 2025 in Basel! This event gathers 3000+ global leaders in biology, covering antibody therapies, cell and gene therapies, immunotherapies, and biosimilars.
Designed for industry experts in pharma and biotech, start-ups, academics, regulators, and investors, the Festival of Biologics will bring the molecule therapy system together.
Oral communication: “Mass spectrometric investigations of therapeutic antibodies: from epitope/paratope mapping using HDX-MS to structural characterization”
We are proud to confirm Rémi Longuespée, PhD, our Project Manager Mass Spectrometry, Biophysics, as a speaker at the Festival of Biologics on October 2 at 11:40 am. Don’t miss his oral communication!
Scientific poster presentations
Epitope/paratope mapping of therapeutic antibodies using HDX-MS
Dr Longuespée will also contribute to the scientific program with a poster presentation highlighting the use of HDX-MS as a powerful and cost-efficient tool for epitope and paratope mapping in therapeutic antibody design. Combined with cryoEM, it enables high-resolution validation of antibody–target interactions and supports faster, more effective antibody development.
mAb and derivative characterization by MS: from quality control to structural features
Dr François Debaene, Head of Mass Spectrometry in Biophysics, will showcase how advanced mass spectrometry (MS) approaches, from intact mass and middle-down analysis to native MS-SEC and HDX-MS, enable detailed, artifact-free characterization of antibodies and their variants. These methods provide critical insights into integrity, microheterogeneity, structure–function relationships, and binding interactions, supporting faster and more reliable therapeutic antibody development.
