XXIX National Meeting on Medicinal Chemistry

The 29th National Meeting on Medicinal Chemistry (NMMC29), the flagship event of the Division of Medicinal Chemistry of the Italian Chemical Society (Società Chimica Italiana), will take place from September 14 to 17, 2025, in Parma, Italy.

Dr Luc Van Hijfte, Distinguished Research Fellow, Senior advisor in Drug Discovery, and EFMC president, was kindly invited as a plenary speaker. We are proud to invite you to attend his presentation at NMMC29.

Organized by the University of Parma, this year’s edition will also feature the 16th Young Medicinal Chemists Symposium “Nuove Prospettive in Chimica Farmaceutica” (NPCF16), creating a valuable forum for academic and industry researchers to present their latest findings and exchange ideas.

Over 250 participants are expected to attend, including leading experts in medicinal chemistry and chemical biology. The program will cover key topics such as sustainability in medicinal chemistry, lipid signaling, biophysics, and the integration of computer simulations and AI in drug discovery.

NMMC29 will include plenary and keynote lectures, oral presentations, and poster sessions, as well as an award ceremony to recognize outstanding contributions in the field.
