EFMC-ACSMEDI Medicinal Chemistry Frontiers 2026

Jun 22, 2026

Join Novalix at the EFMC-ACSMEDI Medicinal Chemistry Frontiers in Dublin, Ireland. This event is co-organized by ACS MEDI (Division of Medicinal Chemistry of the American Chemical Society), and EFMC (European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology).

Renowned speakers will present their latest results and the emerging trends in medicinal chemistry and drug discovery.

Discovery of Novel METTL3 Inhibitors for the Treatment of Cancer

We are very proud to share that Dr Mévellec, Senior Research Fellow Drug Discovery, was invited to deliver a lecture on June 24 at 9:30 a.m.

Abstract: N6-methyladenosine (m6A) is the most prevalent modification of eukaryotic mRNA and plays a crucial role in gene regulation. Methyltransferase-like 3 (METTL3), the key catalytic component of the m6A methyltransferase complex, is primarily responsible for depositing m6A on target RNA. METTL3 is highly expressed in various cancers and is closely associated with tumor development. Previous studies have also shown that METTL3 inhibition activates anti-tumor immunity and reshapes the tumor microenvironment.
