Meet Novalix at the 2025 ISPE Pharma 4.0TM Conference in Barcelona.
The event brings together leading pharmaceutical manufacturers, technology providers, academic scientists, and international regulators to network and share insights. This approach integrates digitalization across manufacturing, regulatory processes, and the supply chain, addressing challenges like drug shortages through technologies such as AI, machine learning, robotics, and advanced automation.
The conference will provide an interdisciplinary platform for all stakeholders of the pharmaceutical chain.
PIPAc Project: Intelligent Production of API
We are proud to share that Sylvain Guizzetti, PhD, Director Process and Flow Chemistry, will be a speaker together with Alejandro Bara Estaun from Bruker Biospin on December 10 at 11.20 a.m.
Overview: The global COVID-19 pandemic has exposed severe vulnerabilities in the pharmaceutical supply chain, leading to widespread drug shortages. Contributing factors include manufacturing disruptions, raw material scarcity, logistical constraints, increased demand, and regulatory challenges. In response, the World Health Organization (WHO) has launched strategies to address these shortages and promote equitable access to essential medicines worldwide. To enhance supply resilience, WHO and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) advocate for Local Pharmaceutical Production (LPP). In line with this vision, the PIPAC project was initiated—an innovative initiative aimed at producing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) using compact, mobile, and autonomous units. This collaborative project brings together Novalix, Alysophil, Bruker, and De Dietrich. […]
