Posted on Feb 11, 2025

February 11, 2025, marks the 10th anniversary of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, an initiative by UNESCO to recognize and promote the critical role of women in science.
Novalix is strongly involved in promoting the critical role of women in scientific innovation among young students and girls.

At Novalix, we are committed to fostering the next generation of women and girls by actively promoting their role in scientific innovation and inspiring young students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

As part of this commitment, four Novalix scientists will serve as ambassadors at the event “Science, a Women’s Profession” organized jointly by the Femmes & Sciences Association’, INSA Strasbourg, and IESF (Engineers and Scientists in France) on March 3, 2025, in Strasbourg. This second edition will bring together young girls from various schools in and around Strasbourg, emphasizing the vital contributions of women and girls in STEM fields.

Our Novalix ambassadors will share their journeys, inspiring students by detailing their educational paths and careers in science:

Laura Carneiro, Research Associate SPR
Alexandra Léon, Research Associate Compound Management
Manon Millet, Junior Research Associate Synthetic Chemistry
Graciela Valerio, Senior Research Associate DNA-Encoded Library

Having participated in the first edition in 2024, Novalix remains proud to support and inspire young students science amongst students.
